    Treatment for Neck Pain
     

    For mild to moderate Neck Pain, you may expect to feel some relief from several hours to two weeks.  In cases of severe chronic back pain such as after serious car accident or other injury pain decreases in three to five weeks. When you have nerve damage (as example pinched nerve), your pain may subside in three to eight weeks.



    All these time estimates may vary from person to person and based on our experience of five years and available scientific research.

    For severe pain, we recommend you see your physician to establish correct diagnosis.

    To start using your ArthriFon®:


    1. Unpack the device and remove the vibraphones from the holding case. Keep the vibraphones in their holding case for proper storage.

    2.  For treatment, set the “Mode” switch to Position "2" and “Power” switch to Position "H" or Position "L" (for anyone weighing below 130 lbs).

    3. Connect the power supply to the ArthriFon® device and plug into an electrical outlet.
     

    4.  Lie down on your back. You may place a small pillow under your neck. You also can hold vibraphones by hand during application

    5.  Apply vibraphones on the area where it hurts you most. For neck pain the best location for vibraphones usually below occipital area (back of your head).

    How can you find “the right spot” for vibraphones?


    6. Find two bony bulges on back of your head; it is where your neck begins.


    7. Move vibraphones about one inch down from them and place them horizontally one and a half inches apart. Second pair of vibraphones needs to be placed horizontally about two inches down from first pair.


    8. Repeat application couple times in the same place until pain is gone. (Ofen you may feel less pain the next morning).

    9.  After you applied the vibraphones, push the "Start/Stop" button. It will stop automatically when the application is completed, after approximately 30 minutes.


    10. The treatment is in progress while the red light is blinking and sound is heard. If you wish to interrupt the treatment for any reason, you can push and hold for two seconds the "Start/Stop" button again, to stop the device.

    You can place pillow over vibraphones to muffle the sound.


    We recommend at least one-hour interval between treatments.


     WARNING:

      • It is normal that during application vibraphones may become warm.

      • If temperature of vibraphones is too high, you need to place thin fabric between vibraphones and your body or stop application for one and half hour, or until vibraphones will cool down.

      • Vibraphones must be held firmly against the body, but not be pressed too tightly that they do not allow vibration to be felt .


     

    For maintenance treatment:


    • Set the left switch to Position "1" and right switch to Position "H" or Position "L" for anyone weighing below 130 lbs.

    • It will be high frequency sound which increase blood circulation, help to rejuvenate cartilage and remove toxins from your joint.

    • Then follow the same steps as described above.

    • For the long run we advise to continue maintenance treatment at least once a month to stay pain-free.


    You may repeat ArthriFon® treatment if you wish to achieve results faster.  

    We recommend doing ArthriFon® application minimum twice a day in the morning and in the evening to achieve pain relief faster.

     NOTE:

      • Do not apply vibraphones directly over the Neck center (on midline).  

      • Do not move neck around during treatment.  

      • Do not discontinue medication, prescribed by your physician. (Only when pain is gone, please consult you physician about discontinuing arthritis medication).

      • Reduction of physical motion may return your pain. Use ArthriFon® as a preventative treatment once per week and later on once every two weeks to ensure the pain will not reoccur. Furthermore, use ArthriFon® every time when pain returns.
