Treatment for Upper Back Pain

For mild to moderate Upper Back Pain, you may expect to feel some relief from two days to two weeks.  In cases of severe chronic back pain such as after serious car accident or other injury pain decreases in three to five weeks.

When you have nerve damage (as example pinched nerve), your pain may subside in three to four weeks.

****All these time estimates may vary from person to person and based on our experience of five years and available scientific research. .****

 

For severe pain, we recommend you see your physician to establish correct diagnosis.

 

We suggest doing ArthriFon® application twice a day in the morning and in the evening to achieve pain relief faster.

 

To start using your ArthriFon® :

 

1. Unpack the device and remove the vibraphones from the holding case (please note that the vibraphones must never face each other while in use or while in storage). Keep the vibraphones in their holding case for proper storage.
 

2.  For treatment, set the “Mode” switch to Position 2 and “Power” switch to Position "H" or Position "L" for anyone weighing below 130 lbs.

3.  Connect the power supply to the ArthriFon® device and plug into an electrical outlet.

 

4.  Lie down on your back.  You may place a small pillow under your back. You may need to use a semi-firm or firm mattress.

5.  Apply the first pair of vibraphones shown on picture, approximately 0.5 inches from your spine (midline) using the two points closest to your pain area.


6.  The second pair of vibraphones needs to be placed about three inches up or down from the first pair.


7.  After you applied the vibraphones, push the "Start/Stop" button. It will stop automatically when the application is completed, after approximately 35 minutes.


8. The treatment is in progress while the red light is blinking and sound is heard. If you wish to interrupt the treatment for any reason, you can push and hold for two seconds the "Start/Stop" button and, if you need to stop press button again to stop the device. c

**Vibraphones must be held firmly against the body, but not be pressed too tightly to allow vibration to be felt .  Remember vibraphone’s membrane side must always face skin****
 

We recommend at least at least one-hour interval between treatments. 


 

NOTE:

  • Do not apply vibraphones directly over the spinal cord (on midline).

  • Do not apply vibraphones directly on the kidney area (as shown on picture)

  • Do not move during treatment.

  • Do not discontinue medication, prescribed by your physician.

  • Do not install vibraphones directly on spinal cord.  Installation of vibraphones on spinal cord reduces effectiveness of treatment.


 WARNING:

  • It is normal that during application vibraphones may become warm.

  • If temperature of vibraphones is too high, you need to place thin fabric between vibraphones and your body or stop application for one and half hour, or until vibraphones will cool down.


For maintenance treatment:


  • Set the left switch to Position "1" and right switch to Position "H" or Position "L" for anyone weighing below 130 lbs.

  • It will be high frequency sound which increase blood circulation, help to rejuvenate cartilage and remove toxins from your joint.

  • Then follow the same steps as described above.

  • For the long run we advise to continue maintenance treatment at least once a week to stay pain-free.


You may repeat ArthriFon® treatment if you wish to achieve results faster.


Please Remember: Your pain may return due to reduction of physical motion and/or poor blood circulation.  To avoid pain returning use ArthriFon® for prevention once per week and later once every two weeks.


When pain is gone, please consult your physician about discontinuing arthritis medication.
